The original engine is finally stripped...



Piston on right twisted.. and also supposedly at TDC.. a bent and twisted conrod I guess.. this may have been the knocking..


Valve stuck down... maybe this was causing the harsh knocking... although the compression on this cylinder seemed fine when engine was removed....






The view from the back.. drain plug for rear bank shown (it has no hose connection, unlike the front bank) - it's somewhere between 3/8 and 1/4 square drive..
